The F series is equipped with modular inserts offering a combination of fibre optics, high speed Ethernet twinax or quadrax, power and standard hyperboloid signal contacts. The connector's ruggedized aluminium shell guarantees an excellent resistance to the high levels of shocks and vibrations on-board rail vehicles. It also meets the requirements of harsh environments in terms of corrosion resistance (500 hours minimum) and sealing (IP66 according to CEI60529).
Fibre Channel D-Sub connectors offer high Data rate 6.25 Gbps, high shock and data resistance and high density quadrax. The main function associated with high impedance D-Sub connectors is to ground the outer shield of a quadrax contact directly to the shell of the connector.

The LHS/LHZ Series delivers railway industry-leading performance for high reliability, specialty, float mount connections, ideal for blind mating. Hypertac® hyperboloid contact technology ensures immunity to shock and vibration and minimal contact resistance. The LHZ Series is available as specific version with high-speed Quadrax contacts.

Micro quadrax/twinax connectors are available in threaded, quick disconnect, SMA and Micro-D size packages, 25% smaller in diameter than SMA coaxial connectors, controlled impedance with tightly spaced PCB footprint.
