Episode 2: Electrophysiology and imaging market trends Part 1

In this episode Justin Fry, Senior Product Line Manager for the medical market and Daniel Riveros Principal Engineer for medical as well will talk about electrophysiology and imaging market trends and how there is an overlap from the electrical interconnect standpoint between the two. Electrophysiology is the study and treatment of the electrical signals in the heart that regulate the heartbeat. It is growing as a safe and effective method for treating cardiac arrythmias, however, there are also risks and costs associated. Electrophysiology devices require connectors that can accommodate signal and high voltage channels, as well as high contact density and reliability. The connectors also need to fit in the catheter handle and be easy to mate and demate.
