Passive Multi-function Assemblies

Smiths Interconnect’s expertise in the design of isolators and circulators, couplers, loads and terminations and transitions are complemented by a filter design capability that enables us to incorporate these functional blocks to offer more complicated passive multi-function assemblies (MFA) created to provide customers with custom electrical and mechanical solutions. Our experience ranges from ~0.4 to ~86 GHz with solutions in coaxial form (0.4 to 20GHz) and waveguide form (~1 to ~86GHz) handling RF powers from a few milliwatts to several hundred kW. Products are designed, analysed, and optimized for specific applications to operate under worst-case combination of agreed operating conditions found in the intended application.
