MRI is an imaging modality that uses magnetic fields to produce detailed images of soft tissues and organs. Some of the trends include large-bore and open-bore systems, high-field and high-V systems, helium-free systems, and deep-learning AI. MRI devices require connectors and cables that can handle the high power and shielding requirements, as well as the durability and ergonomics for frequent use. The connectors also need to be intuitive and easy to mate and demate.
