The design of the HyperGrip® connector (HG series) was ideal for the customer’s requirements when Hypergrip Connectorfitted with custom hybrid inserts. The push-pull mating action provided simpler operation in a clinical setting that the previous threaded connector, and the Hypertac® contact system assures the 1000 of mating cycles needed over the life of the product. Additionally the “medical look” of HyperGrip, which is highly visible in this application, coordinated well with the design of the customer’s medical system.
