Smiths Interconnect announced today a further step toward improving the customer experience by merging historic legal entities into one. Beginning August 1, 2017, the legal entities “Interconnect Devices, Inc.” and “Smiths Interconnect Microwave Components, Inc.” will legally become “Smiths Interconnect Americas, Inc.”
Earlier this year, Smiths Interconnect became the official brand name for all products formerly known by the brand names EMC, Hypertac, IDI, Lorch, Millitec, RF Labs, Sabritec, TECOM and TRAK.
“It is important to note that customers will still be able to buy all the same products that they purchase today,” added Paul Harris, Vice President of Sales for Smiths Interconnect. “By consolidating our legal entities, we are streamlining customer access to the products they use now plus many more across our entire offering.”
To make the process as smooth as possible for customers, several communications have been issued as well as a reference of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
