Smiths Interconnect relocates German site to new state-of-the-art facility

Smiths Interconnect is pleased to announce the relocation of its German facility to a modern, purpose-built site.

The new facility is in Grafling, Bavaria, just five kilometres from the old site in Deggendorf, ensuring seamless continuity for employees, business partners, and customers alike.

Designed to meet our production, logistics, and workforce needs, the site features upgraded infrastructure that aligns with modern safety and environmental standards - reinforcing Smiths Interconnect’s commitment to sustainability and workplace safety. The site supports all business functions and provides ample capacity to accommodate future customer growth. We are especially excited about the opportunity to welcome and host customers for on-site meetings and visits — an important step in strengthening our relationships and showcasing our capabilities.

Throughout its history, the site has maintained a reputation for quality and on-time delivery.

The new facility retains all certifications and qualifications earned over more than 50 years of operation, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, AS9100D, IRIS, and UL certifications. These accreditations reflect the site’s ongoing commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.
