At the launch this month of the Psyche mission to explore metal-rich rocks in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, Smiths Dundee was on board. When Nasa and the ESA launch to Jupiter next year, they will be doing so with components designed, engineered, manufactured and tested to destruction in the same facility.
