Airborne Instrumentation Antennas

This series of aerodynamic antennas featuring TECOM technology are offered in the 225 MHz - 9.5 GHz frequency range and are available in low profile and blade configurations. These antennas are designed to work independently or in arrays of two, three, or more for specific pattern coverage.

Airborne Broadband Omni-Directional Antennas

Smiths Interconnect's high performance omni-directional Type 201564-3 antennas featuring TECOM technology are specifically designed for reduced form factor and highly ruggedized for mission critical airborne applications.

Scalar Feed Horns (SFH)

Standard designs cover 26 to 325 GHz, with approximately 25º beamwidth. Custom horns are available and can provide half-power (-3 dB) beamwidths from 60º to below 10º for narrow beamwidth feeds or horn-reflector antenna combinations. Multiple polarization options are available, as are full waveguide band models with single linear polarization.

Telemetry, MDI and Tracking Beacon Antennas

These antennas featuring TECOM technology are constructed of high performance materials that optimize both environmental and electrical performance.  Each antenna come standard with right-hand circular (left-hand is available upon request) and can be combined into arrays for specific pattern coverage from 2.20 to 9.5 GHz.   

Network Time Protocol (NTP) Servers

Smiths Interconnect's Stratum 1 NTP Server offers remote configuration and monitoring. Its Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) feature provides a cost effective and energy efficient solution for powering the unit.

Our Low Loss Semi-Rigid products are designed with solid Aluminum outer jackets for the ability to route cables "on-site" while maintaining the abilities to withstand high levels of radiation doses. The dielectric materials in this product are very low loss and phase stable over temperature variations found in many extreme environments.

High Speed MIL-DTL-83527

The MIL-DTL-83527 Rack and Panel style connectors offer high density, high data throughput and robustness.  These connectors meet or exceed the applicable requirements of the military specification and come in a wide variety of insert arrangements and shell sizes.
