Smith Interconnect offers high reliability testing per MIL-PRF-55342 for most standard products designed to ensure long term reliability in demanding applications while simplifying the procurement process with standard test plans.

Features & Benefits

We offer a line of fixed attenuators in a high-reliability S-level common platform for space, military, and aerospace designs. The standard parts eliminate the need for costly and time-consuming drawings and specifications meeting the specification and testing requirements of MIL-PRF-55342.  Parts may be ordered 100% tested to Group A with the option to add Group B or Group C.  With our smart part numbering system, companies may designate the level of testing they require simply by indicating Group A, B, & C at the appropriate location in the part number.  Purchasing is made easy with standardized lead times and part number identifiers.

Various terminal types are available including the high performance planar flip chip, “W3” triple wrap, “W1” single wrap, and wire bondable gold “WB1” styles. Choose “S” for solder fused terminal plating using Sn62, “F” style for a RoHS compliant finish using Sn96 solder plating, and our “G” version for a wire bondable thick film 99.6% gold finish.  Smiths Interconnect is an AS9100, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 registered company with two fully redundant manufacturing sites offering risk mitigation for your high reliability needs.
